RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
- New Business Acquisition
- Drive new business opportunities by identifying, qualifying, and developing new project partnerships
- Manage the first stages of the Business Development pipeline by performing initial outreach and nurturing leads through various inbound channels including phone, email and socials
- Manage sales pipeline demonstrating best practice
- Work to meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets
- Commercially negotiate with prospects to successfully close business
- Business Retention and progression
- Nurture relationships with clients and partners you have acquired
- Use commercial acumen to develop business relationships and retain your key business wins
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
- Proven track record in sales acquisitions and delivering against sales targets
- Previous sales experience and a passion for collaboration and useful partnerships
- Experience of using CRM systems to your advantage, to manage your leads, sales, and time effectively
- You have a desire to pursue a career in the Media and Advertising industry with a growing business
- You learn quickly and apply new information to client conversations
- You have the confidence to overcome objections and convert interest into sales
- You are a confident and outgoing individual who is not afraid to get stuck into a growing business
- You’re a collaborator, who enjoys working cross functionally to give the best experience to Clients and colleagues
- You work well under pressure
- You’re willing to travel on job demands
- You’re a great team player with an outstanding leadership qualities
It would be a bonus if you also had:
- A post high school qualification (Degree, HND, Applied Apprenticeship)
- Media, Entertainment, advertising industry experience
- Knowledge of sales analytics, clientele management, deal closing experience preferred

Salary: N1,200,000/PA
Start date: 4th April, 2022.
Location: Lekki, Lagos.
